Evanna Lynch has given a handful of magical performances on Dancing With the Stars this season, but her contemporary number might be her most emotional. During the semi-finals on Monday night, the Irish actress paid tribute to a friend named Simon Fitzmaurice who died from ALS in 2017. The two previously worked together on a film called My Name Is Emily in 2015, and she added that his fierce outlook on life impacted her in a profound way. During the show, Lynch performed a moving contemporary number with her partner Keo Motsepe, before ending the dance by signaling to Fitzmaurice’s director chair.
As if the performance wasn’t moving enough, things got even more emotional when the pair received their scores from the judges. In addition to receiving a perfect score, Motsepe broke down in tears when cohost Erin Andrews mentioned how happy she was to see the dancer finally make it to the semi-finals after being on the show for almost eight seasons. Get ready to drown in a puddle of your own tears ahead!
