President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in Singapore on Monday night for the ASEAN Summit.
The President touched down at the Changi Airport via a private plane at 8:23 p.m., coming from Davao City.
The President brought with him a delegation composed of Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr., Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez, Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana, Trade and Industry Secretary Ramon Lopez, Social Welfare and Development Secretary-Designate Rolando Joselito Bautista, National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon, Presidential Spokesperson and Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo, Presidential Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, Philippine Permanent Representative to ASEAN Elizabeth Buensuceso, and Philippine Ambassador to Singapore Joseph Del Mar Yap.
Duterte will attend several events, including the opening ceremony on Tuesday.
He is also expected to attend a working dinner for ASEAN leaders, hosted by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
The ASEAN leaders will also hold summits with leaders from dialogue partners on Wednesday.
Dialogue partners include leaders of Australia, China, Republic of Korea, Russia, and Japan.
Duterte is then expected to meet with leaders of India and the United States on November 15.
After the ASEAN Summit, Duterte is expected to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in Papua New Guinea from November 16 to 18.
