LILOAN, Cebu – Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio on Monday signed a sister city agreement with this town, which would enable the two to cooperate on more projects.

Mayor Christina Garcia-Frasco, daughter of Rep. Gwen Garcia who is seeking to be elected as the governor of Cebu, represented Liloan, a first-class municipality.

“We want Liloan to have the best practices that we do in Davao City, such as projects in education,” Duterte-Carpio said in Bisaya.

Frasco said the partnership would herald more projects for the town.

Duterte-Carpio thanked the people of Liloan for their support to her father during the presidential election.

She is set to administer an oath-taking with Mandaue officials who will be formally part of the Hugpong ng Pagbabago after her engagement in Liloan.
